These tactile handheld sculptures, elemental in their feel with carbonised atmospheric patterns from the sawdust firing are made with hollow centres. The sculptures capture detritus found on the tidelines of our shores or from the fringes of the fields where I walk. Some have hidden sea grit or earth material within creating a unique sound when moved.
