These are by favourite etchings we have in the shop from Dorset Artist Sally Winter.

Sally employs unusual techniques with her etchings, normally printing ink is used, but Sally uses watercolour which gives her work its unique crisp and bright feel. These are two very challenging techniques brought together which makes her work stand out so well.

The Path of the blue remembered hills just tells me such a story of summer walks full of beautiful woods, dappled sunshine and wild flowers! a close second and third are blowing in the wind and Sea fever. (Rachel)

You can recognise Joannes jewellery by the delicate botanical textures she designs and adds to all her work and the use of Keum boo. This is an ancient method of fusing 24ct gold leaf to sterling silver, you get the strength of the silver and the colour of the gold.
