'Over the years I have found that my best work has been linked to a project, I seem to get an increased involvement with the landscape that I am painting. The more you research an area the deeper it affects the way you see it.
So now The River Test Once again Hugh and I are out and about creating images for an exhibition based in, around and on The River Test, walking, stumbling, falling over, getting knee deep in mud, cold, wet, getting lost and hoping against hope that THERE WILL BE A PUB IN SIGHT SOON, and all in the name of Art!'
