We are pleased to announce we now have a selection of F&C classes! These classes are run by the F&C team. Rebecca, Rachel & Carly are all artists themselves and will guide you through the class. Our In-house classes are designed to be fun and sociable. Come and create something beautiful leave with some new skills and meet some like minded creative people too! Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for all sessions.

Beginners Linocut – Spring
Get creative and design your own unique handprinted prints using linocut techniques! In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one design and cut a lino you can print from many times. We have a choice of templates you can use. You’ll be guided through the process, from planning and transferring your design to carving and proofing it, before finally printing your masterpiece. We will have some springtime templates available to use.
The course includes four prints of your final design.

Needle Felting Workshop – Bumble Bee Hoop

All-Day Linocut Workshop
With The Forest & Cove Team
Spend a creative and inspiring day discovering the art of linocut printmaking. Whether you’re completely new or looking to build on existing skills, this relaxed, hands-on workshop will guide you through the entire process from design to final print.
You’ll create a 15cm x 15cm linocut design, exploring a variety of mark-making techniques to add texture, depth and personality to your work. Templates will be available to support you, but you’re warmly encouraged to bring along your own sketches and inspiration so you can develop something truly individual and original.
With step-by-step guidance, you’ll transfer your design onto lino, learn safe and effective carving techniques, and then move on to the exciting stage of printing your work. We’ll be using the vibrant and playful rainbow roll inking technique, blending colours directly onto the roller for beautifully unique, multi-tonal prints.
By the end of the day, you’ll have produced six prints of your finished design to take home, along with your carved lino block so you can continue printing or refining your piece whenever you wish.
A full day of creativity, colour and craftsmanship — and a wonderful introduction to the satisfying world of linocut printmaking.
