JANUARY 2026
Beginners Linocut – Birds
Get creative and design your own unique handprinted prints using linocut techniques! In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one design and cut a lino you can print from many times. We have a choice of templates you can use, or you can draw your own design. Feel free to bring along any reference images for inspiration. You’ll be guided through the process, from planning and transferring your design to carving and proofing it, before finally printing your masterpiece. We will have some festive & winter templates.
The course includes four prints of your final design.

Mini Model Making – Sausage Dogs

Fullday Linocut Workshop
With the Forest & Cove Team
Spend a whole day exploring the great relief printmaking technique of linocut. We will be working on a 15cm x 15cm image. You will get the chance to design and carve your own design. Template will be available to though with a theme of landscapes and seascapes. You will be shown how to do a rainbow roll. This is a great class to do as a complete beginner or if you have done our two hour class and are keen to learn more.

Introduction to Modern Calligraphy

Join me for a peaceful 2.5-hour beginners’ calligraphy workshop at Forest and Cove, Romsey.
Have you ever wanted to write beautifully – to personalise cards, gift tags or even wedding stationery? This relaxed session is the perfect place to begin.
You’ll learn the foundations of modern calligraphy, from how to hold and use a dip pen, to forming letters and creating words and phrases. Along the way, I’ll share plenty of tips and tricks, and there’ll be time for personal guidance and support.

An Introduction to Silver Clay – with a sparkle!

Suitable for beginners, Silver Clay can be cut, shaped and textured with ease – a wonderful way to create your very own unique pendant, charm or drop earrings – depending on the size of your pieces there is usually enough for more than one! You will also have the option to add a touch of sparkle and set a cubic zirconia into one of your pieces.
We will work in a small group at a relaxed pace with plenty of time to explore the material and ask questions along the way. Your work will be fired and finished during the session so you can wear your creation(s) home with pride!

Fused Glass Open House
