Fused Glass Christmas Curves & Decorations
With Local Artist Linda Rowe
Jump into this Early Bird Christmas-themed workshop. Make a curved piece to light up your mantlepiece or a personal gift for someone. Then choose to make Christmas decorations or suncatchers, lots on offer at this fun workshop.
Tuition – We will look at the process of kiln-formed glass and some simple techniques to enable you to make your own unique fused glass pieces. You will make a curved piece and suncatchers or decorations using copper foil and cut glass shapes & beads. Linda has lots of examples to use or create your own designs.
Each session is suitable for beginners and those who have some experience with glass.
Plenty of opportunities for 1-1 help.

Fused Glass Christmas Decoration Workshop
With Local Artist Linda Rowe
Step into some Early Festive Creativity and get ahead of the game with this fun, relaxing, session. Whether you are a beginner or have worked with glass before this session is for you. Come and join this small friendly class creating Festive Decorations for your home or to give this Christmas
You will make 4/5 decorations, either your own designs or from the templates provided. This class is great for beginners and those who have worked with glass before. Come and join this small friendly class Creating your very own Festive Decorations.
The Tuition, After a demonstration of how to create your decorations using the bases provided, it’s your time to get going and create your own pieces. Christmas Trees, Reindeer, or striped icicles, what will you choose? We will be using beads, glass paints and stampers to make the copper shapes. Linda has been working with glass for 24 years and loves teaching and sharing her love of Creativity.

Lino Cut Christmas Cards
With The Forest & Cove Team
Get creative and design your own unique handprinted cards using linocut techniques! In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one design. You’ll be guided through the process, from planning and transferring your design to carving and proofing it, before finally printing your masterpiece. We have several templates you can use, if you want to design your own it is best the draw it out before the class – the size we will be working on is 10cm x 7.5cm
Not only will you be able to make multiple prints of your design on paper, but the course also includes six card blanks! If you’re feeling inspired and want to create more prints of your amazing design, additional cards will be available for purchase on the day.

Festive Linocut Paper Decorations
With Forest and Cove Team
Get ready to make your own unique decorations! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and stamp your very own linocut patterns onto paper templates to create charming decorations. Perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree or brightening up your home, these decorations also have a special secret — they have space inside for a little surprise! Add a festive joke, a heartfelt wish, a short poem, or even a tiny gift.
You’ll make 5 decorations during the session, with the option to purchase additional templates on the day.

This practical and informative workshop is a perfect introduction to stained glass work for beginners or improvers. You will learn the traditional skills of glass cutting and shaping to a pattern, copper foiling and soldering in a relaxed environment with plenty of individual attention.

Beginners Linocut – Winter/Open theme
Get creative and design your own unique handprinted prints using linocut techniques! In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one design and cut a lino you can print from many times. We have a choice of templates you can use, or you can draw your own design. Feel free to bring along any reference images for inspiration. Silver Clay – Christmas Gifts
With Jo Richards of Faye Benjamin Jewellery
Suitable for beginners, Silver Clay can be cut, shaped and textured with ease – a wonderful way to create your very own unique pendant, charm or drop earrings – depending on the size of your pieces there is usually enough for more than one! The demonstrations will be Christmas themed with, but the choice is yours – what better way to create a unique and personal gift?! To ensure there is a twinkle of Christmas magic, you will also learn to set a cubic zirconia in one of your pieces.
We will work at a relaxed pace with plenty of time to explore the material and ask questions along the way. Your work will be fired and finished during the session so you can wear your creation(s) home with pride! Additional clay, starter kits and jewellery findings can be purchased during the day.
Please bring a sturdy pair of shoes and your own lunch; drinks will be provided.

Christmas Cracker workshop

Set aside a 2 and a half blissful hours for yourself, whilst creating 6 stunning hand-decorated Christmas Crackers ready to display on your Christmas table for all the family to admire!
During the workshop, we will explore pattern and will create some beautiful designs using pens to decorate 6 Christmas Crackers. There will be glitter and gold leaf to add a touch of sparkle too! I will take you through step-by-step for how to design the perfect cracker: ……. I will, of course, be on hand if you get stuck!
