Polymer Clay Mini Frames – Coastal Frames

Monoprinting on Fabric
With Rachel Reynolds
This workshop focuses on creating botanical-inspired monoprints on fabric using gel plates. You’ll explore a variety of techniques using plant and other materials as masks and stencils to create richly textured, organic prints. By the end of the session, you’ll have a selection of unique fabric prints, along with some paper tests and ghost prints to enjoy as finished pieces or develop into future creative projects.
Please Note: Some botanicals will be provided; however, feel free to bring your own. Please keep stems in water until use and wrap them in damp kitchen towel (or a suitable alternative) when transporting them to the workshop.

Beginners Linocut – Woodland & Wildlife
Get creative and design your own unique handprinted prints using linocut techniques! In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one design and cut a lino you can print from many times. We have a choice of templates you can use, or you can draw your own design. Feel free to bring along any reference images for inspiration. You’ll be guided through the process, from planning and transferring your design to carving and proofing it, before finally printing your masterpiece. An Introduction to Silver Clay – with a sparkle!

Suitable for beginners, Silver Clay can be cut, shaped and textured with ease – a wonderful way to create your very own unique pendant, charm or drop earrings – depending on the size of your pieces there is usually enough for more than one! You will also have the option to add a touch of sparkle and set a cubic zirconia into one of your pieces.
We will work in a small group at a relaxed pace with plenty of time to explore the material and ask questions along the way. Your work will be fired and finished during the session so you can wear your creation(s) home with pride!

Discover the art of stained glass in this friendly, hands-on beginners workshop. You’ll learn the fundamentals of the copper foil technique and create your own stained glass sun catcher or decoration to take home.
This practical and informative class is the perfect introduction to stained glass making. In a relaxed and supportive environment, you’ll be guided through traditional techniques including glass cutting and shaping to a pattern, copper foiling, and soldering. With small group sizes, there’s plenty of individual attention to help you build confidence and skills.
You’re welcome to bring your own simple design, or you can choose from a selection of existing templates. If you prefer, you can also create a design on the day with guidance, tailored to your skill level and the time available.
No prior experience is required—just curiosity and creativity!

All-Day Linocut Workshop
With The Forest & Cove Team
Spend a creative and inspiring day discovering the art of linocut printmaking. Whether you’re completely new or looking to build on existing skills, this relaxed, hands-on workshop will guide you through the entire process from design to final print.
You’ll create a 15cm x 15cm linocut design, exploring a variety of mark-making techniques to add texture, depth and personality to your work. Templates will be available to support you, but you’re warmly encouraged to bring along your own sketches and inspiration so you can develop something truly individual and original.
With step-by-step guidance, you’ll transfer your design onto lino, learn safe and effective carving techniques, and then move on to the exciting stage of printing your work. We’ll be using the vibrant and playful rainbow roll inking technique, blending colours directly onto the roller for beautifully unique, multi-tonal prints.
By the end of the day, you’ll have produced six prints of your finished design to take home, along with your carved lino block so you can continue printing or refining your piece whenever you wish.
A full day of creativity, colour and craftsmanship — and a wonderful introduction to the satisfying world of linocut printmaking.

During this workshop, we will learn how to use metallic ink using a dip pen with a calligraphy nib. Beginners Linocut – Flowers, Leaves, Plants etc!
Get creative and design your own unique handprinted prints using linocut techniques! In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one design and cut a lino you can print from many times. We have a choice of templates you can use, or you can draw your own design. Feel free to bring along any reference images for inspiration. You’ll be guided through the process, from planning and transferring your design to carving and proofing it, before finally printing your masterpiece. The templates available will have a flower, leaves, and plant theme, maybe an insect or two as well!
The course includes four prints of your final design.
